Geothermal energy, literally the heat of the earth, is everywhere. Its widespread availability has made this resource popular for centuries, and today we know we can use it for many purposes, including making electricity. In the United States, the most attractive sites for electricity are in the west, but in one form or the other, geothermal energy can be developed just about any where.
